In addition to face-to-face sessions in our office, Family Connection 2, LLC also provides teletherapy services to our clients. This is often also referred to as telehealth and telemental health. Check out the Documents tab for the relevant paperwork.

Available for adults, adolescents, and children. Individual therapy (also known as counseling or psychotherapy) can be beneficial for processing past experiences or traumas, setting personal wellness goals, learning coping strategies for depression or anxiety, adjusting to new life changes, dealing with stressors, and many other aspects.

Families are able to work through their difficulties in a safe and nurturing environment. Families are able to learn to communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and change unhelpful dynamics into more positive and authentic interactions. Family therapy can also be beneficial for adjusting to new changes in the family life cycle or stressors within the family system.

Similarly to family therapy, couples are able to work through their differences in a safe and nurturing environment. Therapists are able to help the couple gain insight into their relational dynamics and help couples reach compromises where both feel understood and valued. Couples are able to learn to communicate with each other more effectively and see things from the other's perspective. Couples do not have to be in a state of distress to come to counseling. Some couples find it beneficial to come in for pre-marital counseling to help them navigate the natural struggles associated with moving into a different stage of life.
